Holistic Practitioners are the Future of Healing

When you want to grow your business, being a holistic practitioner is challenging. You may have experienced scorn, labeled as ‘woo-woo,’ disbelief, self-doubt, lack of credibility, closed doors, difficulty spreading the word about your business, low income, exhaustion, energetic drains… It’s a long list, isn’t it?

Practitioners are the future of healing.

You are heart-centered and care deeply about others and our planet. You love connecting with like-minded people. You are a member of several groups to support growing consciousness or healing. You network to grow your business with heart-centered organizations. You love being in nature and feel a strong connection there. You love animals… This is a long list too.

Collaboration Tips To Help Grow Your Business.

One of our favorite ways, at Sound Wellness, to grow our business locally is to collaborate on an open house event with other heart-centered practitioners also expanding and growing.

Here’s how I do it:

  1. clientsI take a look at my personal network. Many of my best friends are holistic practitioners. And many of them have created large communities of clients and interested people.
  2. I choose one who has a complementary modality that works well with sound. Just about every modality works well with sound in some way.
  3. Then I approach them about collaborating on an open house afternoon event where we can offer an experience of our gifts together.

Here’s an example:

One of my good friends has created a large and active community of practitioners and clients with Spring Forest Qi Gong. So I asked her if she would like to collaborate on an open house.

Working with Munira at our Open HouseI booked a community hall for a Saturday afternoon and we both invited our communities to join us.

Together, we created a 40 minute practice of Spring Forest Qi Gong accompanied by my singing Tibetan Bowls. People were invited to stay for the rest of the afternoon where they had an opportunity to experience:

  • Sharon with Munira at our Open Houseshort individual, Qi Gong healing sessions offered by my friend’s students who were practicing their skills.
  • playtime with Sound Wellness products – singing bowls, tuning forks and more.
  • lots of time for people to connect with my friend and I, sign up for our newsletter lists and ask questions.
  • refreshments and prize draws.

And stay they did! Both my friend and I grew our mailing lists, connected with potential clients and sold product.

It was a great afternoon, allowing both of us to expand our businesses, connect with some great people and have some fun.
